Maharaj means the "great emperor" in Sanskrit. This traditional incense
fragrance is considered the king of all aromas. Our Maharaj incense is made from
the finest and most fragrant oils, resins and natural flowers.
Production of Maharaj incense begins with the blending of a variety of
essential oils, such as Champaka, Heena, Kadamba, Khush, and Chandan. Fragrant
resins such as Camphor, Benzoin and Jhuna are added to this to bring out a
unique and vitalizing aroma.
The Maharaj fragrance is renowned in
Ayurvedic texts for stimulating vitality.
The burning of this incense
will create a sweet enchanting fragrance that will linger long after the sticks
have finished burning. On average these incense sticks burn for one and a half
hours each.
